Bank of Herrin
The Bank of Herrin awarded Hurst-Rosche the commission for the renovation of their home bank and headquarters. The bank interior and exterior had remained largely unchanged since the 1970's and was in need of not only an updated image, but significant changes in operational layout. We provided all architectural, interior design, HVAC, electrical, civil, and structural design services. In addition to those typical services, Hurst-Rosche provided design of the bank equipment, security system, and access control upgrades. We also provided budget control, bidding, and construction administration for the project. All aspects of the facility were addressed. Exterior work included relocation of drive-up operations to minimize staff and increase security, a complete upgrade to the building including entrances, windows, finishes, signage and roofing as well as complete renovation of all parking, drives, and landscaping. Interior work included complete renovation of every department including teller lines, public reception, administration and support. This extensive project was completed while the bank remained in continuous operation.
