Resources public drinking water program's website with a complete
listing of Missouri drinking water laws and regulations. Regulations
include requirements for fire-flow according to MODNR
American Water Works Association
The Industry's Standard for Water Treatment,
Control, and Distribution. The site contains technical resources for
several topics related to potable water, listings of water utility web
sites by state, and more. Updated Daily!
Hydraulic Institute (HI)
Multiple resources on pump standards and has been creating
standards since 1917. The site contains downloadable versions of their
standards, a supplier finder, the newest research findings, and more.

USDA
Water and Environmental Programs-The United States Department of
Agriculture's site describing initiatives and legislation regarding
their assistance to rural areas, towns, and cities with drinking water,
sanitary sewer, solid waste and storm drainage facilities. Excellent
site for municipal employees also interested in Grant Funding!
MODNR - Water Pollution Control Program
The Department of Natural Resources water pollution control program's
website with a complete listing of Missouri Clean Water laws and
regulations. Includes a new section that displays specific recent
permits.
EPA - Office of Wastewater Management
The site contains extensive
information on NPDES and more! Sections on State Revolving Funds (Low
Interest Municipal Loans) and Small Communities may be of particular
interest to municipal employees

FEMA - NFIP (Home Page)
The Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Nation Flood Insurance Program (NFIP)
website describing important information about the program as well as
news and updates. The site includes specific sections of information
for consumers, insurance agents, insurance companies, lenders, and
state/local officials. Everything you need to know about the Flood
Insurance Program including descriptions of how FEMA determines flood
hazard areas.
United States Army Corps of Engineers
The USACOE's home page offering
information on Civil Works, Emergency Response, Recreation Services,
Regulatory Permits, Real Estate, and more.
FEMA - Mitigation
Read about a report on the costs and benefits of
Natural Hazard Mitigation. This contains a case study on Arnold,
Missouri during the 1993 and 1995 floods.
St. Louis Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD)
Metropolitan Sewer District's home page including news releases, upcoming agendas for
board meetings, and other information. Site does not yet contain their
design guidelines.

MODOT's home page offering nearly all of their
reports and summaries in "pdf" format.
MODOT - Local Public Agency Manual
MODOT's entire local public agency manual available in "pdf" format. The manual is
intended to be used as a guide for cities and counties that sponsor
projects utilizing federal transportation funds provided under the
current Highway Act, the Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century
(TEA 21).
MODOT - Standards and Specifications
MODOT's standard specifications book contains material, equipment and
construction requirements for items specified in the construction of
Missouri's transportation infrastructure.

ITE is a non-profit organization
dedicated to improving and advancing the transportation industry. Their
site contains a good overview of all of their services including a huge
listing of technical information.

MODNR - DGLS - Land Survey Program
The Missouri
Department of Natural Resource's Land Survey Program home page offers
everything you wanted to know that governs land surveying in this
state. The site now includes a land records repository order form
(original government surveys available), the Missouri Minimum
Standards, and a great deal more!
National Geodetic Survey
The main site for geodetic survey control and
information in this country. Extensive information is available here on
the Federal Base Network (FBN - an accurate GPS framework), the most
recent Geoid calculations, and much, much, more!
National Imagery Mapping Agency Publications
The best site for government
publications on geodesy and geodetic control that have been
de-classified and are available from NIMA.
