I-270 over I-495, Bethesda Trolley Trail

Design of two links of the Bethesda Trolley Trail Hiker/Biker Facility that contains two design structures. One pedestrian bridge 185 feet long will cross over the east spur of I-270 and it requires a series of loop ramps on the bridge approaches. Retaining walls will be required to confine ramps within the right-of-way. The second bridge is 200 feet long over I-495 the Capital Beltway. Project also includes survey, environmental impacts and design of 10 foot wide trail section.


SIU-C Pedestrian Bridge
Carbondale, IL

Hurst-Rosche provided phase I design of the Lincoln Drive Pedestrian Bridge in Carbondale, IL. This work included survey, preliminary site plan, evaluation of engineering building platform, and landscape study.
