Gymnasium addition

The entire addition, both classrooms and gymnasium, is laid out on one level and construction meets all handicapped accessibility requirements. Where the addition joins the existing building, a ramp now provides accessibility to classrooms in the existing building that were once served by stairs.

Prepare plans, specifications and provide construction administration for classroom addition/restroom renovation, replace boiler, and window replacement in the gymnasium, replacement of floor tile in cafeteria, provide smoke detectors in stairwells, installation of window air conditioning units, lobby renovation and entry vestibule enclosure. Also included athletic director’s office and storage facility.

Beckemeyer Grade School addition, Hillsboro, IL

Hillsboro school district saw a need for additional space at the elementary school with only one multipurpose room available for 800-900 students. Design Architects prepared plans and specifications for an addition of two kindergarten classrooms and a multipurpose room.
