Hillsboro, IL

Hurst-Rosche Engineers, Inc., prepared permits to construct this earthfill dam. Glenn Shoals dam is 45 feet in height and covers a quarter of a mile in span.

Fitzjarrell Reservoir
White Hall, IL

Hurst-Rosche Engineers, Inc., prepared permits to construct an earthfill dam and appurtenant structures. The final dam configuration has a maximum height of 35 feet. This is a Class III dam with a 104 million gallon capacity, covering a 40 acre area.

Peabody Coal Co.
Marissa, IL

Hurst-Rosche Engineers, Inc. assist the owner in securing permits to construct multiple dams/levees for storage of coal slurry refuse. When complete, the resulting reservoir will encompass approximately 400 acres.

Beaver Dam State Park

Hurst-Rosche Engineers, Inc. is assisting the Illinois Capital Development Board and Illinois Department of Natural Resources is obtaining a permit to modify the two dams and control structures for this 60 acre lake.
