Provide all Architectural / Engineering and construction administration services for a 220,000 square foot facility. This project includes an auditorium that seats approximately 400 persons. The middle “T” shaped classroom wing with curved front façade includes 45 classrooms, media center, study hall lecture room, and computer labs, and audio / video lab, cafeteria, full service kitchen, multi-purpose room, two large gymnasiums with two courts each, a multi-purpose room, weight room, locker rooms, administration and guidance blocks, and all related storage and faculty spaces. Site development includes new physical education fields, new running track, six new tennis courts, and segregated student and faculty parking lots. This project includes a fire alarm and sprinkler system.

Provided A/E services for the design and construction of a new elementary school consisting of 47,000 square feet of space. The design is unique in the fact that the classrooms are on two floors with an elevator for handicap accessibility. The building has a large circular lobby area, reception area, offices, conference room and large nurses office. It also has a cafeteria, library, music room, computer lab and gymnasium and 14 classrooms with an additional 10 classrooms on the second floor with faculty area, art room and restrooms. This project included fire alarm, paging system, and fire sprinkler system.

Hurst-Rosche provided design services for a new two story, 8,000 sq. ft. masonry addition with freight elevator, all related electrical and mechanical to accommodate office, library, restrooms, storage space and parking garage.

Design of 20 acre sports complex including concession stand, softball diamonds and dugouts, appurtenant sports lighting, plumbing, mechanical/electrical.

This project included an electrical distribution system, new windows, asbestos abatement along with geothermal heating and cooling system and conventional HVAC systems.

Provided A/E services to prepare plans and specifications for the installation of an exhaust system in the scene preparation area serving the theater in Dunham Hall. This exhaust system was 4000 CFM’s and runs continuously in the occupied time period.

Hurst-Rosche provided engineering services for the construction of a new addition totaling 33,800 sf including science labs, art labs, and a computer based information training center and library.

A/E services include removal and replacement of roads, camp sites, and electrical distribution system; construction of new roads, sites, shower building, check station, and recreational areas. ADA compliance.
