Hillsboro Sewage Collection and Treatment System Improvements
Hillsboro /Schram City, IL
Expansion and modifications to existing sewage treatment plant, including
Imhoff tank, clarifier, filter and chlorination systems and buildings,
sludge drying system, storage lagoons, pump stations and piping, 11,300
lineal feet of 6" - 15" sanitary sewer, and appurtenant work. Engineering
services included surveys, preliminary and final plans, and construction
engineering.
Improvements to Wastewater Treatment Facilities
St. Elmo, IL
Construction of four intermittent sand filters and two duplex pump
stations; rehabilitation of lagoon embankment; replacement of two existing
dry pit sewage pumps; installation of 75 KW generator and 15-amp transfer
switch and miscellaneous site work and piping. Engineering services
included surveys, preliminary and final plans, and construction engineering.
System Improvements
Hillsboro, IL
Construction Cost: $430,000
Hurst-Rosche prepared plans and specifications and assisted the
Illinois Department of Commerce and Community Affairs along with the
City of Hillsboro with obtaining easements and permits from IEPA,
IDPH and other governmental permits for this project. The installation of
a new or rehabilitation of existing tertiary filters, miscellaneous sewer
piping, valves and controls and building modifications to allow filter
installation. Hurst-Rosche provided construction administration and
observation. This project was completed in April, 1999. |
