Wetland Delineation & Replacement

 

Hurst-Rosche, Design Architects and Atlas Soils all have experience in permitting and procedure for wetlands reports. Some of the projects below have been completed with wetlands delineation or a completed report on the area.




IL Rt. 159, 64/38 Widening
Madison and St. Clair counties, IL

Phase I work included preparation of a Design Report, E.A. and right of way documents for 18 miles of IL Rt. 159. The EIS included assessment of wetlands, endangered or threatened species, mitigation of wooded areas, archeological significance. Along with other minor issues such as notice and air impacts.

Curtiss-Steinberg Road
St. Clair County, IL

The project consisted of new pavement construction, 24-ft. wide with 6-ft. aggregate shoulders and drainage improvements. Engineering services included property surveys; soils investigation including borings, profile and analyses thereof; traffic studies, counts and intersection design studies as required; general and detailed plans; special provisions; proposals; estimates of cost; right-of-way dedications; construction easements; borrow pit and channel change agreements as required; environmental assessment; design report; assisting in tabulation and interpretation of contractors' proposals. Engineering also included a Wetland Report.

Sauget Industrial Corridor
Sauget, IL

The project consisted of new roadway of approximately two and one half miles, a complete drainage plan for four hundred fifty acres, wetland mitigation with approval by The Corps of Engineers, and subdivision of the entire parcel into three to five acre tracts for development of the industrial park.

The Project also included design of a railroad overpass and traffic study for the Centreville/Sauget Industrial Park. A complete water distribution system was designed to supply water for domestic use and fire protection.
