Energy Services
Hurst-Rosche is a multi-service engineering and facility management
company. We provide energy management and conservation services for
institutional and commercial facilities.
We provide the optimum solution for resolution of energy-related
problems for our customers.
We will help you reduce and manage your energy consumption by
first providing a study of the existing systems and making
recommended changes or improvements along with a long range
energy cost analysis.
Hurst-Rosche manages the entire facility upgrade for you, leaving you
free to run your core business. You will have one point of contact, our
Senior Project Manager. While the project manager may draw on other
resources to run the project, you need only call one person with all
your questions or concerns with many retrofit projects, structural
engineers and architects are involved in the design in addition to
the mechanical and electrical engineers.
Running a project is often a complex process. What Hurst-Rosche can
do for you:
- Experienced Engineers and Architects design the retrofit and the
details of the plans
- Solicit and evaluate bids for equipment and subcontractors
- Coordinating material deliveries and scheduling installation
contractors
- Assure that the work complies with the design and local and national codes
- Provide construction management, which frees your time in overseeing
the project. Your maintenance staff will be available to attend to their
regular assignments
- Lower cost for you
- Lower development cost. In other words, taking the project from
concept to generation of plans & specs, hiring qualified subcontractors,
keeping the project on schedule and contractors on task
Getting Started
Once the customer has realized that he or she can potentially lower
operating cost with a facility upgrade, we typically schedule a
preliminary audit. The audit begins with a basic walk-through process,
where our Engineer determines the condition, age and efficiency on the
major energy consuming equipment on the customer’s property.
If it appears that there is an opportunity for cost saving measures to be
taken, a formal energy audit is scheduled. The purpose of this audit is to
determine more accurately where the savings can be realized and prioritizing
them in their order of effectiveness.
